Summer Camps







Welcome to Aurora Summer Camps. Our camps are open to Aurora and non-Aurora children; we welcome children from all schools. Each year we have children from many different schools attend. We have camps for all skill levels and interests, but our intimate and cozy environment is especially liked by our younger campers.

Theater Arts Camp

Theater and music are inseparable at Aurora School. We are well known for our Theater Arts Camp with musical instrument building, set design and a rich mix of singing, dancing and acting for all campers.

Camp Dates
Monday, July 5, 2010 - Friday July 30, 2010

Campers must sign up for a minimum of 3 weeks, and must be able to participate in the last two weeks of Theater Arts Camp.

Camp Times:
9am - 3pm

Camp Cost:
Theater Arts Camp cost for 2010 is $300 per week.

Half-Day Camps

We also offer half-day camps for those families looking for a shorter camp day, or those who would like to mix and match camps to vary their child's camp experiences and create a full day.

Camp Times:

Morning Session:9am - noon
Lunch:noon - 1pm**
Afternoon Session:1pm - 4pm

** Children may come early or stay late for the lunch session as part of the camp cost.

Half-Day Camps are offered all summer
Monday, June 14, 2010 - Friday August, 13, 2010

Camp Cost:
All half-day camp costs for 2010 are $180 per session.

Registration Form

Mix and match your many half-day camps. Campers can attend Aurora Camps for the entire summer or for individual week-long sessions. Theater Arts Camp requires campers to sign-up for a minimum of three weeks.

An Emergency Contact form must be completed and submitted at time of registration. It is imperative that we have this form on file for safety of all campers.

Extended Care

Extended Care is available daily from 7:30 am - 9:00am and from 4pm - 6pm, except for during Theater Arts Camp, when extended care begins at 3pm.

The drop-in rate for 2010 is $8.50/hour. If you use extended care from 6 to 14 hours, the rate is $7/hour, for 15 or more, the rate is $6/hour. We bill for extended care hours used at the end of July and again at the end of the summer.

All children need to be signed in and out of camp or extended care by an authorized adult. Please enter through the auditorium door near the driveway to Holy Names High School.

Payment Policy

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for each camp at the time you register. The balance is due no later than two weeks prior to the beginning of each camp session. Your place in camp will not be held beyond this date without full payment. All late payments are subject to a 5% late fee.

Financial Assistance

Partial financial aid is available for all summer camps at Aurora School. Please check the request for financial aid box at the bottom of the registration form and return it with the required deposits. Families will be notified of the status of your financial aid request within three weeks of registering. The maximum amount of financial aid available is 60%.
