Board of Directors

The Aurora Board of Directors consists of Aurora parents, alumni parents, and community members, who serve for two-year terms. Several non-voting ex officio members are also included on the board, including the Head of School and the Aurora Parent Teacher Organization co-chairs.

Meetings are held periodically throughout the year, typically on the first Monday of the month, as indicated on the all-school calendar. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and take place in the school Library. All Aurora parents, staff, and faculty are welcome to attend.

The Aurora board is strategic and future-focused, and ultimately responsible for the long term health and financial strength of the school. The board is charged with strategic planning, policy development, fundraising, and fiscal oversight, and upholds Aurora's mission and core values in every consideration.
