Rey Almeida appointed to Call-To-Action, NAIS' national Think Tank and Advisory Counsel on Diversity
Aurora School is happy to announce that Reynaldo Almeida, Executive Director, has been appointed to the National Association of Independent School's (NAIS) national think tank on diversity (Call-To-Action) that serves as an advisory counsel to the NAIS Leadership Education and Diversity Team.
The role of this national think tank is to address issues of equity and justice in member schools; develop initiatives and action steps to identify best practices for the Association; and assist in developing and supporting professional development opportunities for its members.
Rey's involvement in the CTA is a wonderful opportunity to affect not only issue of diversity, multiculturalism, and equity at the local level but also nationally.
