Parent Involvement
Parent involvement is a hallmark of Aurora School. International research has shown children do better academically and socially in schools where parent involvement is high. At Aurora, parents and families share in the opportunity to grow along with their children.
We know through experience that inviting parents and other adults to be involved in all areas of the school, increases the richness of learning opportunities for everyone. In addition, the closer a parent or guardian gets to the workings of the classroom the better his or her understanding of the learning process. Parents and guardians become advocates and allies for teachers, and are better able to support their child's learning outside the school.
Parents have the opportunity to meaningfully engage in every aspect of our school program.
